Several consultants. One supplier. One point of contact.
You have chosen the consultant you want to work with. WheelOfWork takes on the contract, the due-diligence checks, the invoicing and the payments. You keep your hand on the assignment.
Who it's for, and what for?
Contractor management is for companies and consultants who have already decided to work together. WheelOfWork carries the contractual and administrative frame of the assignment. The company runs the work; the consultant practises through their own business, without becoming a WheelOfWork employee.
The service covers a first assignment as readily as a portfolio of several consultants. We start from your organisation: who oversees the work, who approves the activity, who handles procurement and accounts.
Still looking for the right person? Contractor management starts once the consultant has been identified. For the search and the qualifying, see our freelance service.
From the chosen assignment to the payment.

Agree the scope
The companyYou introduce the consultant you have chosen, the assignment and your contacts, with your procurement constraints and your approval route.
WheelOfWorkWe take your organisation as it stands: who oversees the work, who approves the activity, who handles procurement and accounts.
The consultantYou describe the services, your base day rate and the schedule. If the assignment has already started, say so: the paperwork starts from where things actually are.
- 02
Prepare the file
The companyYou share the constraints of your procurement process and the steps still to clear. A workable start date follows from that.
WheelOfWorkWe gather the business's documents, run the due-diligence checks — proof of social-security standing, company registration, insurance — and draw up the client contract and the supplier contract.
The consultantYou provide your business details and the documents asked for. Which ones depend on its legal form and how long it has been trading.
- 03
Report and approve
The companyYour approver confirms the activity reported, through the route agreed at the start. That approval is what triggers invoicing.
WheelOfWorkWe track deadlines and documents that need renewing. Where something does not add up, your contact raises it before it reaches an invoice.
The consultantYou report your days, or half days, in the WoW application.

Invoice and pay
The companyOne supplier to register, however many consultants there are: a single entity to create in your purchasing system.
WheelOfWorkWe invoice the client company and pay the consultant's business in line with the contractual terms.
The consultantYour business invoices WheelOfWork. You are never a WheelOfWork employee. A payment advance is negotiated separately.
The invoice travels up: the consultant to WheelOfWork, WheelOfWork to the company. The payment travels back down.
External consultant administration: keep your hand on the assignment
Your operational team oversees the assignment. Procurement sets the commercial terms, and the approver confirms the activity completed. Those roles can be held by different people; we identify them from the start.
The contract follows the assignment, including when it changes: an extension, a wider scope, a new contact. An amendment is prepared rather than a new file.
You register one supplier, however many consultants there are: a single entity to create and maintain in your purchasing system.
5% added to the day rate, paid by the client company.
On a base day rate of €700 excl. VAT, the fee is €35 excl. VAT. WheelOfWork invoices the client company €735 excl. VAT per day. The consultant receives their full day rate.
The fee covers contract management, the checks, the invoicing and the payments. A payment advance can be arranged on request; its terms are set out separately.
A familiar face behind the administration.
A document to complete, an extension to arrange or an invoicing question: your WheelOfWork contact follows the file and coordinates the next steps with you. They know your consultants, your procurement rules and your deadlines.

contractor management
Who is this service for?
Businesses that have already identified one or more independent consultants, and consultants whose client wants to arrange the assignment through WheelOfWork.
Does contractor management include finding consultants?
No. It supports clients and consultants who have already chosen to work together. Finding and assessing professionals is covered by our freelance service.
Does the consultant become a WheelOfWork employee?
No. They retain their own business and remain independent. This service does not create an employment contract with WheelOfWork.
What does the 5% fee cover?
It covers contract management, the checks, the invoicing and the payments, and is added to the base day rate. The consultant receives their full day rate. A payment advance can be arranged on request; its terms are set out separately.
Can one contact help manage several consultants?
Yes. The service can cover several consultants. We agree with you which assignments are included, who is involved and how approvals will work.
Who approves the work completed?
You do. Your business appoints the person who approves the activity reported; we invoice on that basis.
How are extensions handled?
Tell your contact about the new schedule and any scope changes. They handle the contract amendments and the administrative updates.
Can we start with a limited scope?
Yes. You can start with a single assignment, or hand us several consultants from the outset. Setup depends on the files to put together and on the approvals on your side.
Do I need my own business?
Yes. The service is for consultants operating through their own business, the one that will invoice WheelOfWork. Set out your situation in the first conversation and we will see whether the arrangement fits.
Is a payment advance always available?
No. It is possible subject to agreement, on the terms and at the price set out in the contract.
How do I access my account?
Through the WoW app. Your contact helps with the steps relating to your assignment and your file.
