Purpose and scope
These terms cover the use of the WheelOfWork website. The publisher is identified in the legal notice. The site is intended for businesses, professionals, freelancers, managers and candidates interested in the activities presented.
They do not replace the WoW application terms, a service, recruitment or assignment contract, or agreed commercial terms. A mere visit to the site does not form a commercial commitment.
Reading this page is not consent to data processing or optional trackers. Statutory obligations of users and the publisher apply independently of presumed acceptance through browsing.
Access, availability and links
Access is free, excluding Internet and equipment costs. Users are responsible for their equipment and connection. The site may be interrupted for maintenance, updates, security or external events. Permanent, error-free availability is not guaranteed.
The sign-in button opens the WoW application, whose registration, access, authentication and services follow separate rules. Do not enter application credentials into this website’s forms.
External links open services whose content and rules may differ. A link does not mean approval of every item at its destination. Report broken links to hello@wheelofwork.com.
Information, forms and illustrations
Information presents WheelOfWork’s activities and approaches. It is not a promise of an assignment, employment, placement time, compensation or professional availability. Examples illustrate situations and should not be treated as verified client references unless expressly identified as such. Guides provide general information and do not replace advice tailored to specific circumstances.
The website’s forms genuinely transmit your requests to the WheelOfWork teams. A call-back request, profile submission or job application is a point of contact: it concludes no contract, promises no employment and confirms no order. The checkboxes accompanying them are described under Data and cookies.
The illustrative professional scenes, including the homepage video, are generated illustrations. The WoW platform views shown on the site are illustrative recreations with fictional names, assignments, dates and amounts; they are neither client results nor a contractual offer. The real application is accessed through an external sign-in link.
Fair use and security
Users must respect the law and third-party rights. Prohibited actions include unauthorised access, impersonation, fraud, phishing, introducing malicious code, bypassing security and disrupting availability.
Extraction and reuse must respect intellectual property, database rights and personal data protection. Contractual restrictions remain subject to statutory exceptions and mandatory rights.
Proportionate restrictions may be applied in response to abuse or security risks. They do not remove applicable user rights or remedies. Report vulnerabilities responsibly to hello@wheelofwork.com without exploiting or disclosing third-party data.
Intellectual property and information supplied
Rights in the website and its content remain with their owners as described in the legal notice. These terms grant no general right to reproduce, commercialise or reuse trademarks.
If you contact WheelOfWork, provide only relevant information you are entitled to share. Sending a message does not transfer ownership of your CV, work or documents. Uses necessary for an application or service must be specified within that service.
Liability and force majeure
Each party is liable for breaches attributable to it under applicable law. Assessment of loss takes account of evidence, causation and statutory rules on compensation.
No provision excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, deprives an essential obligation of its substance or limits mandatory rights of a consumer, candidate or person whose data is processed.
Applicable statutory time limits and rights to compensation remain in force. Force majeure is assessed under French law and its statutory effects; an interruption is not automatically force majeure.
Data and cookies
The personal data protection policy sets out the processing linked to the website’s forms, technical data, contacts and rights. The Cookies and trackers page describes the features that are actually active.
The contact forms carry two checkboxes, which do not commit you to the same thing. The first is mandatory: it records acceptance of these terms and allows WheelOfWork to handle your request, reply to it and follow the relationship that may arise from it. Where WheelOfWork subsequently presents its services to a professional contact, that processing rests on its legitimate interest; you may object at any time, without giving reasons and without affecting your request.
The second checkbox is optional and unticked by default. It subscribes you to WheelOfWork’s communications. The preference centre, reachable from every message received, lets you choose which ones to receive and unsubscribe. Leaving it unticked, or unsubscribing later, has no effect on a request already sent.
These terms are not consent to an optional tracker, which rests solely on the choice panel, nor to WheelOfWork’s communications for anyone who has not ticked the second checkbox.
Changes, applicable law and disputes
The version date is shown at the top. Changes apply prospectively without removing acquired rights or retroactively changing a concluded contract. If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder continues to apply to the extent permitted by law.
French law applies, subject to mandatory provisions protecting the user. Complaints may be sent to hello@wheelofwork.com or the registered office. Seeking an amicable solution does not prevent legal remedies or urgent measures.
Jurisdiction is determined by ordinary legal rules; these terms do not impose exclusive territorial jurisdiction on all users. This English version is an informative translation and does not restrict applicable mandatory protections.
