What the 5% pays for
The 5% covers contract administration, KYC checks, invoicing and payments. Finding the consultant is a separate service.
The total depends on the base day rate and the number of days invoiced. The calculator provides an estimate excluding VAT; the contract and approved activity determine what is actually invoiced.
Who bears the fee?
The WheelOfWork invoice to the client always includes the fee: €735 excl. VAT per day for a €700 excl. VAT base rate. Who bears it economically, the client or the supplier, depends on the commercial agreement: say so explicitly in the terms.
Distinguish the invoice calculation from the negotiation over cost. A 5% fee without the base rate and the final amount is ambiguous: put both in the terms discussed before the assignment starts.
The payment advance is negotiated separately
A payment advance pays the consultant before the client invoice is collected. It requires a separate agreement, whose terms and pricing are set out in the contract. The calculator does not count them.
The value of an assignment says nothing about its payment terms. Before starting, also check the approval process, the deadlines and the documents to provide.

The services come to €14,000 excl. VAT and the fee to €700 excl. VAT, giving a total of €14,700 excl. VAT invoiced to the client. This is a calculation example; it does not count payment advance charges.
Is the calculator a quote?
No. It illustrates the calculation using the values you enter. The scope, approvals and payment terms are agreed before the contract.
Is a payment advance included?
No, the estimate does not include it. Eligibility, terms and pricing are subject to an agreement set out in the contract.
