Tell us about the work ahead.

01

The work to be done

A job title does not tell the whole story. Tell us what the person will have to produce, and what they will have to decide.

  • The objectives of the project or role.
  • The decisions to be made and the deliverables expected.
  • Who the person reports to, and which teams they work with.
02

The experience that matters here

We look at the experience that matters for this work, and at how someone will work with your team. That is what we select on.

  • The technical and professional skills required.
  • The sector, tools and constraints to understand.
  • What they decide on their own.
03

Making the arrangement work

We separate what is already agreed from what is still open: without that, a professional cannot assess the opportunity.

  • The timing and expected duration.
  • The location and on-site requirements.
  • The budget and selection process.

Frequently asked

Your questions,
answered.

What is the difference between freelance work and Interim Management?

A freelancer brings expertise to deliver defined work. An interim manager temporarily holds a leadership role and makes the decisions set out in their assignment. In practice: defined work to deliver is a freelancer; a leadership role to hold is an interim manager.

Permanent recruitment or Executive Search: which service should you choose?

Both are permanent hires. Permanent recruitment covers specialists and managers; Executive Search covers directors and senior executives, approached directly. In practice: if the role can be filled by meeting people who apply, it is permanent recruitment; if the person has to be found where they already work, it is Executive Search.

Can a project involve several specialist areas?

Yes. Describe the project and then the responsibilities to cover. It may involve engineering, IT, finance and leadership. Tell us how your teams work together: that will say whether you need one person across the board or several specialists.

We have already found a consultant. What next?

Choose contractor management and describe the assignment, timing and procurement process. The conversation covers the client and supplier contracts, documentation and invoicing arrangements with the consultant.

Do the budget and job description need to be finalised?

No. Call us while the requirement is still taking shape, and tell us what is agreed and what is not. Responsibilities, timing, budget and terms come up afterwards: that is what makes the assignment or role legible to professionals.
